Event Information
The Kensington Triathlon will represent Michigan for the "Best of the US" series. This is a great course for all and a USAT sanctioned event. Rudy Project give-a-ways including sunglasses, helmets, bags, tees, hats and other door prizes will be on hand.
800m swim, 15 mile bike, 4 mile run

Registration includes: Zorrel Dri-Balance event t-shirt, aid station Hammer products & Buschs water, goodie bag, swim caps, Championchip timing, and a USAT sanctioned venue.
Awesome finish line food provided by Salsarita’s. Choice burritos include steak, chicken, and the ever-popular vegetarian. Chips and salsa will also be provided.

Course Information
Swim Course, 800 meters (0.5 mile) - The swim will begin at Maple beach, the course will be a triangle shape. Athletes will swim clockwise making all right hand turns.
Bike Course, 15 miles - The Bike course will head out of the Maple beach parking lot, and turn right heading NE. Following the main road. Going to Martindale Beach entrance a turn around will be in place, at entrance (4 miles) into the course. Heading back riders will pass Maple beach (8 miles) heading towards the West entrance. The second turn around at the Huron Park office (11 miles). Athletes will then turn on Island road (12 miles). Go to the back of the island for another turn around. Head East off Island rd. towards Maple beach (14 miles). Turn right into the parking lot, down the hill, back into transition (15 miles).
Run Course, 4 miles - The run course will begin along the lake heading North. Athletes will then meet up with part of the cross country route, following the contour of the lake. Athletes will then run by the baseball fields running along the parking lot, following the way out (1mile). Runners will then connect onto the paved trail along the lake again heading to the bridge for a turn around (2 miles). Heading back athletes will follow the paved trail (3 miles) then get off before the parking lot following the lake for the last ¼ mile in. (4 miles)

Element Events will offer a transfer policy on upcoming 2008 events. Your transfer will NOT be accepted for 2009 events. $20 will be charged to transfer your entry among any of the 2008 triathlons. Athletes are NOT allowed to sell or gift their registration to another athlete.
