Join Team Mongo, and the Boys and Girl Club for this kids triathlon. There will be 2 sperate age group 6-9 and 10+ Great give-a-ways on hand. All kids will receive an event tee, and custom BD's medal!

150 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run

Swim (150 yards) will take place in Kent Lake along the beach area there will be plenty of life guards and volunteers to assist the kid’s (Athletes may take a break on course). The course will be a 75 yard out and back.

Bike (2 miles) Any kind of bike welcome. Leaving the parking lot the athletes will make a left heading east towards the Hickory shelter. In an out and back format.

Run (1 mile) the run course is 90% grass. It is a loop format. Athletes will only do one loop on this course. There are some hills to negotiate. Aid station will be at the ½ mile mark with water Gatorade, and plenty of Team Mongo support:)

All kids entering must have a USAT license. $5 will cover them for an annual license (One-day licenses are not available for youth divisions). This means they will be able to compete in other youth USAT sanctioned events though out the 2009 season.
