The Pumpkinfest Road Run 5k and 10k, will kickoff the classic Pumpkinfest parade. Event will start at Volunteer Park located on Dixboro rd. just South of 9 mile. Finish is at Centennial Middle School. This will be a fun family event with a grand finish line, right next door to the Pumpkinfest carnival. Partial proceeds going towards Pumpkinfest Committee. Come be a part of South Lyon’s greatest community event! This is a RUN ONLY EVENT runners must be able to consecutive 11 min miles minimum. Sorry no walkers, due to the parade schedule.

5k-Located at 1.5mile mark supplied with water and Gatorade

10k- Located at the turn around at 7mile rd. Supplied with water and Gatorade

(9:35) 5k-starts at Volunteer Park heading north, crossing 9mile heading on the rail trail by the Hidden Creek sub. Making a right at trail end runners will hit the 1.5 mile mark half-way to McMunn. Runners will be greated by cheering fans and music before heading south on Pontiac Trail 2mile mark. Running down to 9mile turn right passing Millinum Middle School. Finish is near the next school about 3/4 of a mile down.

(9:10)10k-Starts at Volunteer Park. Runners will turn left onto Dixboro heading south (gravel road) passing 8 mile down to 7 mile(1.55mi) in a out and back format. Runners will then head to the 5k portion(above) of the race.
