The first of our three locations, Sean O'Callaghan's Traditional Irish Public House in downtown Plymouth Michigan opened in May of 2001 and quickly became a popular local destination. In true Irish fashion we opened our downtown Milford Michigan location on St. Patrick's Day 2005, this time as simply O'Callaghan's Irish Pub. And most recently, in December of 2006 we opened in Brighton Michigan at The Shoppes at Green Oaks Village.
The Victorian décor of each pub is designed by the Prarie Pacific Pub and approved by Guinness. While each is distinct in its own way they are all filled with rich mahogany and cherry wood, hand finished in Calgary, Alberta, while our stained and etched glass accents come straight from Ireland. The pubs are filled with Irish music, artifacts, antiques, etched mirrors and signs which detail our rich heritage. Lastly, the stone wrapped fireplaces draw guests by their warmth and colour.
